ABOUT
VaggelisGiannopoulos.
I am a software engineer in Greece. I build booking systems, back-office automation and AI pipelines for businesses that are losing hours to the same task every week. Ergalos is my practice, and it is one person: me.
THE NAME
Ergalos
From the Greek ἔργον and ἐργαλεῖο, work and tool. I build tools that do work. That is the whole idea, and it is why nothing here is sold as a platform, a suite, or a subscription: it is a tool built for one business, and then it runs.
HOW I WORK
01
The smallest system that removes the work
A tool that does one job and keeps doing it beats a platform you have to learn. I build on what you already run rather than asking you to move.
02
You can always overrule it
Anything that writes, sends or publishes on your behalf stops at an approval gate first. Automation you cannot inspect is automation you cannot trust.
03
An engineer you can call
One person builds it, so one person knows why every part of it is the way it is. There is no account manager between you and the code.
ON CLIENT WORK
Every project I have delivered is covered by a non-disclosure agreement. That is why you will not find client names, logos, testimonials or headline figures anywhere on this site, and why the service pages describe what gets built rather than what it earned somebody. I would rather show you nothing than show you a number I cannot stand behind.
On a call I can talk through the shape of work I have done, how a system was put together and where it broke first, without naming who it was for.
WHAT I WORK IN
Greek tax and invoicing systems: AADE myDATA transmission, e-invoicing through accredited provider channels, POS and ERP connections. Hospitality systems: direct booking engines, channel managers, property management systems.
Integration work between systems that were never meant to talk to each other, document capture and OCR, AI assistants that handle Greek properly rather than approximately, reporting, and ad pipelines with an approval gate. I work in Greek and in English.
Twenty minutes, no pitch deck.
Tell me what your business repeats every week, and I will tell you honestly whether a system is worth building for it.
